I was born in Minnesota, but my family quickly moved to Southern California, where I developed a deep fascination with the concept of "home." What does it mean to a person? What does it look like? How is it obtained, lived in, managed, and enjoyed? What happens in a divorce or if a relocation is needed? I was intrigued by the lives lived in all kinds of homes, whether they cost $70,000 or $7 million. This ongoing exploration of what it means to find, create, and truly live in a space that feels like home led me to buy my first house at just 19 (one of the $70K ones). Now, after moving through nine homes I've successfully raised two college attending daughters, with majors in Elementary Education and Social Work. While they want nothing to do with the business world, I wholeheartedly support and admire their dedication to their own meaningful paths. Our household is also shared by three rescue dogs, all on some form of expensive medication, who take turns being the one in trouble. When I'm not working I enjoy reading memoirs, happy hours with colleagues, volunteering with a ballet company, travel to Cape Cod and spending time with my Nieces. You can find me in Mac Groveland where I've been for 21 years.
